About Luma

Lauren Gram
Founder, Luma Consulting
Hi, I’m Lauren, founder of Luma Consulting and a true believer in the power of local government to do good.

I’ve dedicated my career to connecting with communities across New Zealand and Australia, capturing the unique insights that make their places special. Through projects as big as master planning suburbs or as humble as a park upgrade I’ve worked with communities to embed their values into the places and spaces that mean the most to them.

Local government is truly unique and I get how complex it can be to navigate your many stakeholders while managing everchanging projects. My firsthand experience in what makes communities tick and navigating the challenges and nuances of councils means I’ve got the insight to give advice that’s not just innovative and accurate, but also practical and robust.

Luma is all about guiding councils through the engagement process, delivering not just results, but the skills to repeat the process again and again. I give advice tailored to the reality of local government that you can trust. Let’s shine a light on your community together!

I’m excited by councils getting it right and fostering connections that truly reflect the voices of the community. I can’t wait to join your team.
